Wayne has been teaching Dance Workshops since 1991.

“My reason for running these workshops is really to encourage and give motivation to young dancers with talent who want to perform on stage. I see many talented children but sometimes they need that extra bit of inspiration to go that bit further and try that bit harder! The parents love it, the kids love it and that gives me great satisfaction. I am thrilled that International Dance Supplies’ brand, 1st PositionTM, has sponsored the Autumn Tour. Their exceptional quality dancewear enables you to look good and feel good while dancing in the studio or on stage.” Wayne Sleep

Wayne runs day-long dance workshops with classes in ballet and jazz. The ballet workshops are themed on ballets such as Sleeping Beauty and excerpts from other well-known works. He adapts excerpts from the ballets to the students’ abilities so they can perform in front of an audience of parents and dance teachers.

In October and November 2006, Wayne Sleep will be embarking on another national Tour of his dance workshops for young students of all abilities aged six onwards, held on Sundays.

Don’t miss this opportunity to join in the excitement and inspiration that Wayne brings to the day and shares with each and every person.

Feedback from Bristol workshop 2004

I would be most grateful if you would pass on many thanks to Wayne for the workshop in Bristol on the 2nd.

Harriet, my daughter enjoyed it so much. She started off with quite a few nerves not knowing what lay ahead but driving home she was so full of energy and praise for Wayne it was quite lovely. Harriet loves ballet but she still lacks confidence and I feel that this sometimes holds her back. I feel the workshop helped to bring some confidence to the fore. We hope to join in with more workshops in the future so please inform us as and when these may occur.

She has enjoyed Royal Academy Summer Schools on a couple of occasions and we hope very much one day that she will be able to join a Ballet Company and enjoy a Ballet career. As many other young girls, I realise but we must all dream and we can aspire to be a great dancer such as Wayne.

As for me, mum. It was a pleasure to watch my daughter, the other dancer's and in particular Wayne. He has a wonderful aura with both pupils and public. For that I say thank you.

With warmest wishes

Diane and Harriet Eddiford
